Here is a favorite for a cold winter day!


Chili a la “Mule”

3 lbs ground beef, venison or turkey

3 T minced onions, 3 T garlic pepper

6 oz cans of tomato paste and tomato sauce

15 oz cans of black beans and kidney beans

28 oz can diced tomatoes

3-4 cups of water depending on prefered thickness

3 T chili powder

OLD MULE: ¾ cup for flavor or 1-1½ cups for “kick.”

 

Brown meat, onions and garlic pepper. Add remaining ingredients. Cook for two to three hours. Sprinkle with grated cheese and ENJOY! You can use leftover chili for taco salads or as a topping on baked potatoes.
